Why did Hitler decide on 76 nights to bomb Britain ?
Summary
Germany was attempting had to destroy Royal Air Force. The Luftwaffe started bombing aircraft factories, runways, radars, hangars & convoys; however, when a bomb was accidentally dropped on London, Churchill wanted to drop bombs on Berlin. This then upset Hitler so he bombed London for 76 nights straight, the St. Pauls Church was one of few buildings not to get hit. People took it as a sign as hope.
