Summary
After D-Day the Allies moved forwards to the battle of Falaise Gap and then moved to Paris and liberated the city. The allies needed to race to Berlin before the Germans got there to stop the spread of communism. Although Germany at this point was going to lose they tried one last counteroffensive, The Battle of the Bulge, that was not successful.
